01 — Overview

Ptosis Correction

Ptosis correction lifts a drooping upper eyelid by strengthening the muscle that opens the eye — making the eyes look brighter, larger and less tired.

Ptosis is when the upper lid sits low because the levator muscle is weak, making eyes look sleepy or uneven. Correction adjusts the levator muscle to raise the lid to the right height, often combined with double-eyelid surgery. The result is a brighter, more open and symmetric eye.

02 — Approaches

Approaches we offer

The right approach depends on your structure and goals. At consultation, the surgeon determines which fits your case.

  • Levator Adjustment — The muscle that opens the eye is tightened to raise the lid to the right height.
  • With Double Eyelid — Combined to form a fold and lift the lid together for a brighter eye.
  • Müller Muscle Technique — A targeted approach for mild ptosis with precise lift.
  • Asymmetry Correction — Balancing two eyes that open unevenly.

How your case is handled

Surgeon-led analysisYour structure, proportion and goals are assessed directly by the surgeon — with 3D imaging where helpful.
Balance over volumeThe plan considers natural facial harmony — never a one-size template.
Surgeon-performed, start to finishThe surgeon who consults you performs your surgery — never delegated.
Natural, lasting resultStability and long-term outcome are planned so the result settles naturally and lasts.

"Every result is designed, not duplicated. We plan around your face and structure — for a result that looks like you, only refined."

07 — FAQ

Common questions

How is ptosis different from excess eyelid skin?
Ptosis is a weak eye-opening muscle leaving the lid low; excess skin is loose skin above. They are corrected differently — the surgeon distinguishes them at consultation.
Will both eyes look even?
Correcting lid height to balance two eyes is a core goal, including for naturally uneven eyes.
Can it be combined with double eyelid surgery?
Yes — very commonly, to both lift the lid and form a fold for a brighter eye.
How long is recovery?
Plan about a week for stitch removal; swelling settles over a few weeks.
How do I start?
Send eye photos — relaxed and open — on WhatsApp for an assessment within 24 hours.
